So last week I took my first offical Vacation as a manager, and my first vacation in over a year! I spend my 11 days visiting friends and adpoted family in Stockton CA, my family and friends in Fresno CA and a beautiful day in Monterey Bay visiting the aquarium 
there and kayaking in the 
ocean with my adopted stockton brother Justin Emmett... needless to say I had a blast, and enjoyed seeing everyone... but what was really fun was kayaking! Neither myself nor Justin and ever done it before and we did REALLY good for first timers. The guy responsibe for getting us geared up and teaching us was unconviced that we were first-timers. We then shocked everyone, including ourselves at how far we got out there for how short of a time we could be out there. We enjoyed perfect waves, all the marine life and perfect weather.... Other highlights included FINALLY convincing my mother to get a "real" cell phone with a plan and visting the Fresno Temple Grounds. So all in all it was a wonderful vacation and I can't wait to take my next week of vacation!
